In the quaint, historic neighborhood of Belmont-DeVilliers, located just west of downtown Pensacola, sits an all-brick building home to Southern soul food, hospitality, sweet mint tea and exquisite bread pudding.
The restaurant, created to remember five sisters from Kentucky that would prepare incredible Southern-style meals, features original art work, copper table tops and original brick work. Be sure to try the fried-green tomato BLT (it’s to die for!) or any of their other traditional meals, including Aunt Sara’s fried chicken and waffles, fried okra, pulled pork barbecue and so much more. After you’ve had your fill of an entree, try the chocolate bread pudding to satisfy your sweet tooth!
As an added treat, restaurant goers are able to enjoy a live jazz throughout the evening.
The ambiance, cuisine and experience of Five Sister’s Blues Cafe was awesome, so I’m giving this 4.5 stars! Have you been to Five Sisters? Let me know in the comments!
