Fort Walton Beach ranked in top 10 of safest cities for seniors

The study analyzed national senior living costs and FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Program data. It computed ranks for “violent crimes, property crime rates and median senior housing costs for over 380 cities,” Alec Drozdowski said in a press release. The data combined computed the top 10 best and worst cities for senior safety and housing affordability.
